Recipes
Recipes will display recipes for various meals, appetizers, etc.
What does the Recipes page look like to visitors?
Since the Recipes page is a component, the Recipes folder can be added to either the Menu tab or the Member tab. Like all other components, you can name the Recipes folder whatever you like.
- Click on the Menu tab.
- Click on the Recipe page's button. Since Recipe folders can be named anything, whatever it was called the button's icon will still look the same. [ Example ]
- The Recipe content will then load. [ Example ]
- Recipe content is separated into two sections, the left side will display the recipe categories, the right side will display the recipes within the category selected.
- After a category has been selected, you can view the recipe you want by clicking on the recipe name on the right, which will display the recipe info. [ Example ]
- Visitors also have the option to search for recipes using the search bar at the bottom of the window. [ Example ]
- The recipe information can be printed by clicking on the print button in the lower right corner of the recipe window. [ Example ]

How do I get to the Recipes folder?
- Log in to the Admin.
- Click on the appropriate tab to access your Recipes.
- Click on the appropriate button to bring up the Recipes folder.
- The Recipes folder will load. [ Example ]
- Click on Family Cookbook tab, on the right, to bring up your list of personal recipes. [ Example ]

Add a New Category to the Family Cookbook
- Click on the add recipe button in the upper right of the Family Cookbook window. [ Example ]
- The Add Recipe form will load. [ Example ]
- Click on the add category at the top of the add recipe window. [ Example ]
- The Add Category form will load. [ Example ]
- Enter the name for the category as you would like it to display on the page.
- Check the box to determine if you want to allow the public access to the category.
- Once done, click the save button to save your new category.

Edit a Category in the Family Cookbook
- Click on the add recipe button in the upper right of the Family Cookbook window. [ Example ]
- The Add Recipe form will load. [ Example ]
- Click on the category name that you would like to edit. [ Example ]
- Type the new category name into the text field. [ Example ]
- Check the box to determine if you want to allow the public access to the category.
- Click the update button to save your changes.

Delete a Category from the Family Cookbook
- Click on the add recipe button in the upper right of the Family Cookbook window. [ Example ]
- The Add Recipe form will load. [ Example ]
- Click on the delete icon to the left of the category name you would like to delete. [ Example ]
- The system will ask you if you want to continue deleting the category. [ Example ]
- If you wish to continue, click on the Yes button; click on the No button if you do not wish to delete the category. Please bear in mind that deleting categories is irreversible.

Add a New Recipe to the Family Cookbook
- Click on the add recipe button in the upper right of the Family Cookbook window. [ Example ]
- The Add Recipe form will load. [ Example ]
- Select the category you would like the recipe to appear in. [ Example ]
- Fill in the fields for recipe title, description, ingredients, directions, owner, and number of servings.
- Once done, click the Add Recipe button at the bottom of the window. [ Example ]

Edit a Recipe from the Family Cookbook
- Click on the recipe title to open the recipe window. [ Example ]
- Click on the edit recipe button in the upper right corner of the recipe window. [ Example ]
- Edit the recipe information that needs to be updated.
- There will be a note in the lower right corner notifying you that you are now in edit mode. [ Example ]
- Click the Update Recipe button in the lower left corner of the window. [ Example ]
- You will receive a confirmation notice that the recipe has been updated. [ Example ]

Delete a Recipe from the Family Cookbook
- Click on the recipe title to open the recipe window. [ Example ]
- Click on the Delete button to delete the recipe. [ Example ]
- The system will ask you if you want to continue deleting the recipe. [ Example ]
