| Properties
The Properties folder allows you to set the name that appears at the top of your Family Website, and to create passwords for different sections. Your site's Administrator password can only be set and updated in this section of the Admin. The Members password can be set and updated here, or via the Password Manager section of the Admin.
Here are the steps to manage your site's properties:
- Log in to the Admin.
- Click on the Admin tab to the left. [ Example ]
- Click on the Properties button. [ Example ]
- Your Family Website properties will load in the Properties folder. [ Example ]
- Enter in your family's last name in to the Family Name text field.
- To change the name of your Family Website [ Example ], enter in your own custom name in to the Website Title text field.
- If you want to receive notifications from your Family Website, enter in your e-mail address in to the Email text field.
- You can set the administrator password under the Administrator Password text field and confirm the Administrator Password in the text field below that. You can also set the password for the file upload password under the File Upload Password text field and the member password under the Member Password text field.
- You can set your Password Hint Question and the Password Hint Answer to the right of the Properties folder. This question is a system security measure when you click on the Forgot Password link; you will need to provide the Password Hint Answer exactly as you have written it, or the system will not display your password.
- Before you click on the Update button to apply your changes, all the text fields that are labeled in red are required and these need to be filled out with something before you can click on the Update button.
