Character Studio


The Character Studio allows you to create and modify your family members. You may also move them wherever you choose.


How do I start the Character Studio?
  1. Log in to the Admin.
  2. Click on the Admin tab to the left.
  3. Click on the Character Studio button. [ Example ]
  4. The Character Studio menu will now load at the bottom of the screen. [ Example ]

Create a New Character
  1. Click on the create new character button. [ Example ]
  2. The Character Studio content will expand across your screen. [ Example ]
  3. Hover your mouse over the silhouette to highlight the age and gender for your character. Click on that character to continue. [ Example ]
  4. The Character Studio will load. Your options will appear on the left and a preview of your character will be on the right.
  5. You will start off with the character's head. The head button will be selected at the top of the Character Studio folder. [ Example ]
  6. Select a head from the list of options and a preview will appear on the right. [ Example ]
  7. You may select a color from the Choose color palette menu at the Bottom-left corner of the Character Studio at any time. [ Example ]
  8. Continue customizing your family member using the Character Studio.
  9. Select a head from the list of options and a preview will appear on the right. [ Example ]
  10. Click on the hair button to choose a suitable hairstyle. [ Example ]
  11. Choose from a variety of eye brow shapes. [ Example ]
  12. Select the eye type of your family member's character. [ Example ]
  13. Choose a nose that best suits your family member. [ Example ]
  14. Click on the mouth button to make your character smile! [ Example ]
  15. Then choose a body type. [ Example ]
  16. A series of icons will appear underneath the preview of your character. These icons control the view of your character within the preview screen. [ Example ] The padlock icon will change from open to closed when you click it; closed means that your character's preview image is locked into place and won't shift when you toggle between the menu buttons across the top of the Character Studio.
  17. To set a custom color instead of using our color palette, click on the custom color button at the bottom of the screen. [ Example ]
  18. Click anywhere in the color palette to select a new color. Advanced users may adjust the RGB or HSB or replace the hexidecimal value of their color into the Color Code. [ Example ]
  19. Click on the set color button to view the custom color in the preview screen on the right. [ Example ]
  20. Set a new custom color or click on the rotating arrows icon to return to the main color palette. [ Example ]
  21. Your custom color has been set. [ Example ]
  22. Type in your character's name and enter a caption to allow visitors to identify them on your website. [ Example ]
  23. Click on the save changes button to apply all changes to your new character. [ Example ]
  24. Your new character will load onto the theme park. [ Example ]

Modify Existing Characters

  1. The Modify Character will appear above the character in your Character Administration. [ Example ]
  2. To modify a character, click on the Edit option within the Modify Character menu.
  3. To flip the character so that it is facing the opposite direction, click on the flip button.
  4. To resize the character, click on the "-" symbol to make it smaller or click on the "+" symbol to make it larger.
  5. To move the character around, click on the character and hold down the left mouse button. Drag the character to the desired location then release the mouse button. The Modify Character menu disappears while you are moving the character, and reappears as soon as you release the left mouse button.
  6. When working with multiple characters in the Character Studio, click on each character to have them placed in front of the other characters. [ Example ]

Delete existing characters

  1. To delete the character, click on the delete button in the Modify Character menu.
  2. When a message appears to confirm the deletion of the character [ Example ], click on the Yes if you want to delete the character. Please keep in mind that the deletion of characters is permanent and cannot be reversed.

Saving your work

  1. Click on the save & exit studio button. [ Example ]
  2. When a message appears to confirm your changes, click on Yes or No. [ Example ]
  3. You will be no longer be logged into the Character Studio.
