Calendars
Calendar pages allow you to show events and appointments to others.
What does the Calendar page look like to visitors?
Since the Calendar page is a component, the Calendar folder can be added to either the Menu tab or the Member tab. Like all other components, you can name the Calendar folder whatever you like.
- Click on the Menu tab.
- Click on the Calendar page's button. Since Calendar folders can be named anything, whatever it was called the button's icon will still look the same. [ Example ]
- The Calendar content will then load. [ Example ]
- Calendar content is separated into two sections, the top displays mini calendars of the previous and next months, as well as the option to view previous and next years, and the bottom has the current month's calendar showing which dates have events.
- Visitors can move between months by clicking on the left and right arrows. To display a particular day's schedule of events, click on the day – visitors will see that day's in a new window that opens up. [ Example ]
- The day that is highlighted in the calendar always represents the current day. Days with events scheduled will display the event title.
- The calendar and the events can be printed by clicking on the printer icon in the lower right corner of the calendar or the "Print Events" button in the event window. [ Example ]

How do I get to the Calendar folder?
- Log in to the Admin.
- Click on the appropriate tab to access your Calendar.
- Click on the appropriate button to bring up the Calendar folder.
- The Calendar folder will load. [ Example ]

Add a New Event to the Calendar
- Click on the Time Zone button in the upper right corner of the window to set the calendar to your time zone. [ Example ]
- You can select your continent and closest city for your time zone and click save when done. [ Example ]
- Click on the date that you would like to set an event for, which will open the View Events window. [ Example ]
- Click on the add event button at the bottom of the Calendar folder. [ Example ]
- The Add Event form will load. [ Example ]
- Set your start date and start time, then set your end date and end time for your event.
- Select the type of event this is from the Category drop down menu
- Type in a title for your event in the Title text field and enter in your comment in the Details text field.
- Check the box for recurring if this is a recurring event.
- Set the frequency of the recurring event, the time period that this event will occur through, and any dates that will be exempted during this time period.
- When done with your event, click on the Save Event button to add the new event or you may close the window to cancel the event.

Edit an Existing Event in the Calendar
- Click on the event's day and then click on the edit event button to change that event. [ Example ]
- The Edit Event form will load. [ Example ]
- You will be able to change everything about the event when you created the event. When done, click on the Save Event button.

Delete an Event in the Calendar
- Click on the event's day and then click on the cancel entry button for that event. [ Example ]
- The system will ask you if you want to continue deleting the event. [ Example ]
- If you wish to continue, click on the Yes button; click on the No button if you do not wish to delete the event. Please bear in mind that deleting events is irreversible.
